Late Summer Senior Session | Ann Arbor, Michigan
All senior portrait sessions are special, but this one had a lot of meaning to me! The subject? My wonderful niece. Sarah, from Trenton, Michigan.
We chose the perfect late summer evening for the shoot, with the golden hour light casting a warm, magical glow over everything. We started our adventure in Ann Arbor, visiting Graffiti Alley, where the vibrant murals added an edgy, colorful backdrop to her portraits. From there, we ventured to a rooftop parking deck, capturing stunning views of her in a cap and gown. To balance the urban vibe, we ended the session at the serene gardens of the Botanical Center, where the natural beauty and soft light was the perfect setting to wrap the session. It was such a personal and meaningful day, combining my niece’s unique style with the beautiful surroundings of Ann Arbor. Every shot reflected her personality and the excitement of this milestone, and it felt like such an honor to be the one to capture these memories for her. I absolutely love being an aunt to this amazing human!
